Movember is a leading men’s mental health charity on a mission to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Here’s how you can get involved this month.

1.Sign up

Sign up on the Movember website or download the app.

2.Create a profile

Create a profile so your followers can see all the amazing work you’re doing for Movember. Set a fundraising target and off you go. Oh, and don’t forget to include a profile pic!

3.Start growing a Mo!

Begin with a clean-shaven face and track your progress in growing a moustache to raise awareness for men’s mental health.

4.Ask for donations

Let your colleagues, family and friends know why you’ve got a new look, and point them in the right direction to donate if they are able to.

I don’t want to/can’t grow a moustache – how else can I show my support?

Not vibing with the Freddie Mercury aesthetic? Don’t worry, there are plenty of other ways to get involved and raise money:

  • Move for mental health – Run, walk, hop or skip 60K to raise awareness of the 60 men lost to suicide worldwide, every 60 minutes.
  • Donate – Give what you can here and help support men around the world.
  • Host a ‘Mo-ment’ – Raise awareness while doing something fun, whether you host a takeaway night, get everyone out for a sponsored bowling game or a work lunch.
  • Mo your own way – Feeling innovative? Raise money and awareness your own way – here are some stories of inspiration to get you started.
  • Fundraise at work – Gather your colleagues for a coffee and cake break, sponsored sports day or organise a dress-down day for donations. Whatever it is, it’s easier and a lot more fun to do Movember as a team!

We hope you found this blog helpful – we can’t wait to see how you choose to get involved. Let’s get together and have some fun for a great cause!
